Project started and completed in 3 day's

We were contacted by the homeowner after he had received several estimates from other swimming pool contractors.

The estimates ranged from the sublime to the ridiculous.

 This particular job will go down in our history as bizarre.

The pool was covered with chicken wire and a standard tarp.

It was braced with 2 x 4 lumber, which ran to the bottom of the deep end.

The cost of covering this pool incorrectly must have been an estimated $250.00 and $250.00 in labor.
That's the good news

When we pealed back and dismantled  this make shift cover,  we found a nasty pool.  The home owner (who happens to be a celebrity on the Hollywood horror film circuit), was contemplating  just filling in the pool as repair costs were prohibitive.

 After assessing the job, I thought the same thing. 

The bottom of the pool had bicycle parts a leather jacket, several concrete blocks, thousands of worms and undetermined rodent thingy! 
There was enough bacteria to make the C.D.C. envious.  
We had to re-route his plumbing for filtration; installed 
new coping to hang his liner, and rent a super sump pump just to be able see the bottom.

The home owner was so appreciative he sent out for pizza and e-mailed me the photos you see below.

                                       Next step to refinish the concrete that surrounds the pool.

Finally the family can enjoy this once neglected  pool!
